Reduced production capacity and prolonged shipping times
The health and safety of both our co-workers and customers are our main priority right now. In our production facilities, surfaces are disinfected daily and workers are keeping a safe distance from each other. No reported cases of COVID-19 has been found in the general areas of our facilities so far.
The exact delivery times are at the moment difficult to predict. We ask for your patience until we can give you a more exact estimate of when your package will arrive. If you want to order something you can find the predicted delivery times here. If you already have placed an order, you can find the updated delivery time on My page.
Our production facilities are currently running at reduced capacity due to government imposed curfews in Sri Lanka to reduce the spread of the virus on the island and protect the health of the citizens.
We are monitoring the situation closely and are adjusting projected delivery times on a daily basis.
All orders will from now on be delivered with FedEx to your home (or any other address), regardless of which shipping method you have previously choosen.
Since many airlines have cancelled flights globally, our shipments have been re-routed and might take 1-2 days longer to reach their destination.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused you.
We understand if your priorities are elsewhere right now, especially if you are quarantined or working from home. But even though these are hard times, please lend a thought to your favourite businesses and help them survive this crisis. Small gestures like ordering food from your local favorite restaurant or supporting your local shops (or favourite online shirtmaker for that matter) will go a long way to stabilize the economy moving forward.
Tailor Store has been in business for 17 years and we have been through hard times before. We have no doubt that we will be able to sort this one out as well in due time.
Our organization is strong, our finances are healthy, and we are determined to keep up the good work.
To stop doing that would mean sending 500 skilled co-workers into unemployment and poverty.
To us, that is not an option.
Take care and be safe!
